Mark Allen died at age 61 and much too soon for his family and loved ones. Funeral services will be held Novermber 5, 10:00-11:30am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mound, MN. Reception to follow at the Gillespie Center. A
fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank in
Mound if
anyone would like to donate.

The sun has not risen
yet,
Sleeping in just wasn’t
going to happen when there’s garbage to get.
“Gotta go”, is what you
would say,
Never a complaint
regardless of the day.
The customer
satisfaction is what you were all about,
Never leaving a stop or
skipping a route.
Up the driveway you
would go get that can,
Keeping the wife from
yelling at her man!
No matter the weather
from hot to sleet,
You never left garbage
on any driveway or street.
You have taught so many
so much throughout the years,
“A one and only” said
many customers in tears.
The community has
embraced you as part of family; as did we,
Blessed and inspired we
wish you could see.
You left us in a tragic
way,
In our hearts you will
forever stay.

Disposal were deeply saddened on October 19, 2011. This is a day that will
forever remain dark in
our lives. Mr. Mark Allen left us and this earth due to a horrible
accident. He was so much more than
a garbage man to all of those who knew him. Mark was so
inspirational and hard driven to
rebuild the garbage company after the lapse due to Franks retirement. Not only
were we blessed to have Mark,
but his son Todd who also joined us shortly after. Being a small
family business, it was truly an
honor to see Mark incorporate his family into the business he believed in
as well. We will continue
to honor Marks outgoing and extremely positive attitude for life although this
may be one of God’s
hardest challenges. For he touched us all and we will forever love Mark and
his family.
